Why This Blog

So why this blog with all the blogs out there?  This site is designed to help people do what God has called them to do.  If you find yourself in a fog or feeling like you are not quite there, I want to give some practical tips and Biblical insights to help you get there.  I love reading and sharing experiences that will help you reach your God-given potential.

This site is committed to sharing practical insights to help anyone to do what God has called them to do.  Our desire to know God and His plan for us should be followed by our willingness to act on what we know.

We will explore the disciplines necessary to know and “DO THE WILL OF GOD”. These disciplines are not things I created on my own. Each discipline is rooted in scripture and in the lives of many great men and women in history. Each post will be designed to challenge you to “do” some things that you may or may not be doing now.

Things like seeking wisdom, learning to forgive and managing what we have been given will make following God’s plan easier.  Other things like “failing to do what you know you should, ” harboring anger and bitterness, will only slow your rise to reaching the goal.  There is no substitute for doing the right things.

The responses that we have to our circumstances greatly affect the outcome of our lives. Our decisions will keep us on the path or knock us off the path of doing what God wants for us. There are things we can do to make it BETTER and things to make it WORSE.

There is no time like the present.  There is no better day than today to begin or improve your movement towards this goal.

Enjoy the journey
